In addition to this the lecturer went over the borton's 1970 model, the three elements, the various methods used for reflective writing, and the description, analysis and evaluation structure for reflective writing. Additionally, we were given good examples of reflective writing and, in opposition we were shown the bad examples of reflective writing. The lecturer told use we would use this for all our upcoming assignments.
The Seminar for week 2 for Management Information Systems:
In the seminar on Friday morning we did a presentation on how to analyse a business case. For the task we had to get into groups. The questions we had to answer what is a business case, what is your roles as an analyst, what typical steps are required to analyse a business case and what does each of the steps mentioned in question 3 involve. We also were reminded that we needed to choose a small business of our choice for the group task. This message was aimed specifically at my group because we did not yet pick our small business. Also, in that seminar we did a bit of excel work to prepare us for more excel based work in the future. For the excel task we went over formulas to ensure, when we do the work in the next seminar we have a rough idea. It was just a brief lesson and we were provided with all the necessary information to help us revise and prepare for the future lessons.
