Lecture
For the lecture the subject we covered was on preparing and, delivering a presentation for the business. Also for the lecture we were briefed on the outline of a presentation, the planning involved for an presentation and what things we need to avoid. We were told that, when planning for the presentation we need to practice fervently, and implement the appropriate action to succeed. So for the presentation we were told that we should use the right spelling and grammar, the right delivery and the necessary structure for our presentation to be successful. We were also told that we can use power point alternatives to make our work different and interesting.
Seminar
For the seminar we did work on excel that relates to budgets and summary's of business budgets. We were told about the WHATIF data, and how they can be used to create a scenario summary. The seminar was a tutorial on how to use this new formula and,how it relates to a business when they are forging databases. We were also shown how a business can use scenario summary to reduce their expenses, through subtle changes in figures. In addition to this, we had a conversation with the teacher and we explained what stage we are in currently in the group work.
